Job Title: Technical Support Specialist – CS1
We are a provider of digital medical imaging equipment in the non-hospital private practice radiology market. We provide complete digital solutions consisting of hardware and software for digital acquisition and x-ray image management for doctor`s offices, specialty clinics, and imaging centers nationwide.
We currently have an opening on our technical team for a Support Specialist. The Support Specialist`s role is to provide a point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance for the organization`s application software.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Respond to inquiries, requests for assistance by providing first level remote support to customers (end-users).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve workstation problems in a competent and professional manner.
• Answer technical questions and assist customers and field personnel throughout the United States
• Provide accurate and thorough solutions to client problems to ensure client satisfaction and productivity
• Install software and set-up hardware per customer configuration requirements
• Some domestic travel may be required to install and support customers
Position Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in Computer Information Systems or similar
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of Windows 2000/XP/Vista
• Working knowledge of Windows 2003 server and server technologies (IIS, SQL)
• Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware and internal components, operating systems and networking principals
• Ability to quickly diagnose problems and effectively communicate solutions in a user-friendly language.
• Exceptional phone and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills are a must.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
